AES Corporation provides industrial automation solutions, systems integration and process systems to customers nationwide. AES had an outdated and insubstantial website, and looked to Informatics to help recreate their presence on the web.

The result of the update is www.aescorp.com. “It provided AES with an updated and more professional look,” an AES spokesperson said. Of the many goals the site was designed to accomplish, the most important was presenting the organization as a professional, trustworthy, and proficient company. This task was accomplished through multiple means. The width of the new website was expanded from AES’s previous site to match contemporary screen sizes. Influential imagery was used in conjunction with phrases targeting AES’s primary demographics to generate dynamic content on the homepage.

Additional homepage advancements include a highly stylized main navigation with active and hover states, a brief company bio, and bulleted lists highlighting segment specific abilities. A search, contact us link, and company phone number are also easily located on the company’s homepage.

The site’s interior pages focus on the company’s primary industry segments and also include careers, about us, and contact sections.
