Iowa Lean Consortium

The Iowa Lean Consortium is a newly formed state-wide network of organizations (education, manufacturing, government, healthcare, service and non-profits) focused on helping each other through networking with other Lean practitioners and sharing knowledge and expertise.

Informatics worked with the Iowa Lean Consortium Board of Directors to redesign and develop a website based on the organization's main goals of establishing a larger member base and expressing the value of becoming an Iowa Lean member.

The Iowa Lean homepage features a large slideshow that uses visually appealing pictures and graphics to convey the benefits and advantages of becoming an ILC member. One of the sites unique features is its "Members Area" extranet which gives Iowa Lean members access to a variety of different sources including: a calendar of shared events, training materials, Lean article library, and member contacts.

Futhermore, Informatics used a variety of different techniques to increase the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the site and provided the ILC with a content management system that allows them to update and maintain their website content.
